Job Title: Production Worker

Location: Rochester, NY (near East Ave Wegmans)

Shift Hours:

  • A Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

  • B Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Sunday-Thursday)

Pay: $17/hr Job Type: Full-Time

Description:

We are seeking dedicated and dependable Production Workers to join our dynamic team. As a Production Worker, you will be vital to our manufacturing operations, handling essential tasks to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Your role will involve machine operation, quality control, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading Materials: Accurately load materials into machines according to production schedules and specifications.

  • Operating Machines: Safely and efficiently operate machinery used in the production process, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Moving Products: Transport and organize products throughout the facility to maintain workflow and support other team members.

  • Making Boxes: Assemble boxes and other packaging materials required for finished products.

  • Packaging: Package finished products, ensuring they are correctly labeled and prepared for distribution.

  • Quality Checking: Inspect products for defects and adherence to quality standards, making adjustments or reporting issues as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Dependability: Strong track record of punctuality and reliability. Must be able to consistently show up for scheduled shifts.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic familiarity with machinery and mechanical processes is a plus; training will be provided for specific equipment used.

  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes or changes in production schedules.

  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of and adherence to safety protocols in an industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
