DESCRIPTION OF WORK You will undergo training for licensing and certification to operate heavy construction machinery, including Heavy Truck/Tandem Axle (HT/TA) vehicles and loaders with a bucket capacity of 4.5 cubic yards or less. You will be instructed on performing essential pre-and post-operation checks and making necessary adjustments to ensure safe operation and minimize wear. The role involves using various hand and foot controls, wearing seat belts, and managing tire chains on dual wheels. Training will also cover the execution of manual labor tasks with both powered and non-powered tools, such as shovels, hammers, chain saws, and patching machines, while ensuring the correct selection of tools to prevent damage and reporting any missing or damaged equipment. Maintaining a safe work environment is vital, requiring adherence to safety procedures and the use of protective gear. You will be expected to make visual observations, perform manual adjustments, and communicate your findings both in writing and verbally. Staying vigilant about your surroundings is essential to mitigate risks and hazards, with a responsibility to report any personal injuries or equipment incidents, including near-misses, to receive appropriate care. Furthermore, you will implement environmental protection measures related to your maintenance tasks and comply with the environmental management standards established in your training programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Shifts will vary seasonally, due to weather, and/or based on operational needs Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements: Must possess a valid Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on the first day of work. Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations on the first day of work.

Conditions of Employment: This position is subject to Drug and Alcohol testing in accordance with Federal Regulations.
