Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for experienced and talented Maintenance Technicians for our evening shift. This is a hands-on position where you will be unloading presses, changing out injection molding inserts, and working with laser machines. You will be involved with schematics for sensors, presses, and Kuka robots. We prefer candidates with at least five years of direct manufacturing experience and strong processing skills. With experince in plastics injection or blow molding is preferred but not required. General familiarity with automation and the ability to speak Spanish are pluses. This role requires working in a brand new, but not climate-controlled, facility with Big Fans. The 12-hour shift schedule typically requires five days one week and two days the next week: 2 on/2 off/3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off. Overtime work may be required depending on production and customer needs.

Hard Skills

  • Industrial Maintenance (1-3 years)

  • Basic PLC inputs/outputs

  • Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics

  • Electrical ability (24V DC to 480V)

  • Experience with single and three-phase motors

  • Lathe and Bridgeport Mill (Nice to Have)

  • TIG/MIG/Stick or EDM Welding (Nice to Have)

Soft Skills

  • Strong processing skills

  • General familiarity with automation

  • Ability to speak Spanish (Nice to Have)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Brand new facility but not climate controlled. Big Ass Fans are installed. This is a night shift position with a rotating 12-hour schedule. Overtime work may be required at times.
