About the Position: This position is in the Contract Cost Management Division within AIM and serves as a principal advisor to the Executive Director of AIM and the other directorates throughout the organization. Responsibilities Serve as a principal advisor to the Executive Director, AIM and other directors throughout the organization. Conduct specialized studies and projects on assigned missions, functions, programs, and processes. Consult with Directorate and field activities to ensure implementation of policy and procedure revisions are achieved. Monitor and analyzes ASC contract cost, planning, and funding policies on ASC programs. Provide guidance, assistance, and overall direction to the Executive Director and management team. Represent the Executive Director on various Command-level working groups (Operational Planning Teams, Integrated Planning Teams). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes collecting, analyzing and approving sources of cost data and analytical information; developing analytical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations; preparing and presenting findings, options, and recommendations for contract costs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13).
