First Health of the Carolinas Director of Quality - Richmond and Hoke in Rockingham, North Carolina

The Director Quality will lead the development of best practices and drive process change to achieve optimal results and high reliability in the care delivered to patients. Will support clinical departments and divisions in evaluating outcomes and processes to support improvements in objectives around standardization and utilization. Demonstrates a commitment to maintain effective communications with all health team members and with all hospital customers to facilitate and promote effective working relationships, customer service and patient satisfaction. Ensures programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. Responsible for monitoring and updating policies and procedures to include regulatory changes. This position is responsible for coordinating all medical staff services at the Richmond & Hoke campus. This position coordinates all regulatory services on the Richmond & Hoke campus.The position works with Director Risk Management to follow up and trend all complaints and risk issues. This position collaborates with system Director Outcomes Management to ensure discharge planning is timely and effective on the Richmond campus & Hoke campus. The position collaborates with county services to assist with decreasing readmissions and increasing services to the patients. This position; as the Patient Safety Officer for the Richmond Campus & Hoke Campus ensures that the initiatives with Press Ganey High Reliability are implemented. Within 6 months will participate in Administrative Call for the Richmond Campus and Hoke campus if needed. Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. RN required. Masters required. Masters may be in nursing or related field. Certification in Healthcare quality preferred; required end of two years. LEAN experience is preferred. Currently licensed to practice nursing in North Carolina. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience required, two (2) years management experience, two (2) years experience in Performance Improvement preferred. Regulatory experience preferred.
