Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable in Rockmart, Georgia, 30153, United States. This role is crucial in our finance team, with responsibilities encompassing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with additional banking and fixed asset maintenance duties. The successful candidate will be expected to understand the workings of a trial balance and be able to respond to and correlate transactions accordingly.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all AP duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Handle all AR tasks, including billing, cash applications, and collections.

• Maintain fixed assets records and perform regular audits.

• Carry out banking responsibilities, including account reconciliation and commercial collections.

• Ensure that all transactions coming into the trial balance are accurately recorded and correlated.

• Use various software including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for different financial operations.

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries effectively.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.

• Maintain new master data responsibilities and ensure data accuracy.

• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Knowledge and experience in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in Billing operations

• Expertise in Cash Applications and Cash Collections

• Understanding of Commercial Collections procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
