ICF’s IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department seeking a seasoned Agile Business Project Manager with extensive experience in Agile Project management to support upcoming needs with our federal customers. As we continue to expand our services and to support this growth, we are looking for an experienced Agile Business Project Manager to join our Digital Modernization Division. We provide technical assistance services to US Civilian Federal Agencies and their partners, such as Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). General Description

The Agile Business Project Manager will serve as the product owner and customer lead to become a trusted advisor for clients. Build professional trust relationships and establish personal rapport with business stakeholders to better understand their concerns and business mission. Lead meetings with senior client leadership and stakeholders to discover the current state, business processes, requirements, and pain points and understand aspirations, business mission, and goals. Demonstrate leadership, strong communication, and team management skills. Work closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

What you’ll be doing (Responsibilities/Day to Day):

  • Serve as the product owner and customer lead

  • Establish business stakeholder responsibilities

  • Practice Agile Project Management methodology with an emphasis on flexibility, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage schedule of business activities and ensure alignment with implementation schedule adhering to Agile project management

  • Lead Business Process re-engineering efforts to achieve improvements in productivity, cycle times, quality, and customer satisfaction

  • Create functional documentation (Workflows, User Guides, Training Materials)

  • Ensure completion of business stakeholder activities with coordination with the team, other stakeholder groups, and technical teams

  • Obtain and communicate group and stakeholder confirmation of requirements with multiple team members

  • Review product demos and share feedback to implementation teams

  • Provide assessments of technical implementation and determine customer satisfaction with functional requirements

  • Actively perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure participation from the team

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with other Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, requirements grooming, retrospectives, etc.

  • Create management reporting and presentations

  • Responsible to raise project issues and ensure escalation as needed

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading technology consulting engagements with clients

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience

  • 3+ years of Federal or US Government experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing technology artifacts, business requirements, and conducting UAT.

  • 3+ years of experience in Agile project management

  • BS degree from an accredited institution

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to federal contract requirements.

  • Must be able to obtain U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance

  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Professional Scrum Master

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with low-code/no-code platforms such as ServiceNow, Appian

  • Experience working with a Federal Government customer

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Conflict resolution skills to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$95,776.00 - $162,819.00
