Are you a talented Designer Drafter with a passion for civil engineering? We’re on the lookout for someone just like you to join our dynamic team in Rocky Hill, Connecticut! If you have a knack for MicroStation and Open Roads Design software, along with expertise in Storm Flow modules, we want to hear from you. You’ll be at the heart of creating detailed design drawings, plans, and models for a variety of exciting civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, and other infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Excellence: Utilize MicroStation and Open Roads to craft precise design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects.

  • 3D Modeling Mastery: Create and manage 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.

  • Storm Flow Savvy: Implement Storm Flow modules to analyze drainage systems and ensure they meet all relevant regulations.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Documentation Pro: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and project summaries.

  • Quality Assurance: Review and modify designs based on feedback and evolving project needs.

  • Industry Insight: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Work Site:

This is a fully on-site position in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.

Work Environment:

Join our close-knit team of 40 in a cozy and quiet office. You’ll report to the manager of the civil team, while other managers oversee the field/water waste and surveying groups. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with flexible hours. Plus, enjoy a comfortable work attire policy.
