YOUR ROLE

  • Selected individual will be responsible for commercializing new adhesive film/ paste products, scaling-up to high volume manufacture and executing projects related to raw material replacement.

  • Maintain a direct relationship with customers (internal & external), vendors, contractors, production, R&D and regulatory agencies.

  • Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products.

  • Able to effectively analyze data for: § Root cause analysis § Verification of process changes and conduct optimization with engineering studies, i.e.: design of experiments.

  • Will work as a technical liaison with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to drive scale up activities. Provide technical and engineering support to successfully launch new products.

  • Explore new technology, product, or performance improvement opportunities and follow through to procure & commissioning.

  • Travel required up to 30% depending on business needs.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Must possess relevant degree at minimum BS level or above, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • Minimum 7 years of directly applicable engineering experience in adhesive film/paste manufacturing or related industries.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong background in statistics (JMP, MINITAB) and quality tools preferred. Familiarity with SPC principles and application to batch processes. Competent in problem solving techniques such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MCA, etc.

  • Must be customer focused, action and result oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Extensive knowledge of materials, chemistry, techniques, applications, operations in individual’s area of responsibility.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and process economics in areas of responsibility, including a thorough understanding of the effects of process variables and design considerations important to optimal operation.

The salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $115,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
