YOUR ROLE
Prepare and/or review federal and state income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
Prepare quarterly federal and state income tax provisions.
Assist with federal tax audits and state tax notices, including gathering data and responding to information requests.
Play an active role in tax digitalization initiatives, identifying and implementing technology solutions to streamline tax processes.
Support special projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring alignment with the overall tax strategy and corporate objectives.
Mentor and review the work of tax interns and Shared Service Center Tax Team members.
Stay current on changes in U.S. Federal and State income tax law.
YOUR SKILLS
Education and Personal Skills:
BS/BA in Accounting, CPA/Master of Taxation a plus.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a focus on integrating digital solutions in tax workflows.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in corporate federal income tax, preferably in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
Experience with SAP and CorpTax is a plus, but not required.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and digital tools.
The salary for this role is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
