Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will perform repetitive general labor tasks, such as taking bricks from kiln carts and stacking them on the monorail. You will be standing in one area and repeatedly moving bricks. You will assist in all brick manufacturing operations, mix sands and slurries for various applications, and ensure the quality of the bricks being made. Additionally, you will clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades, track schedules, and maintain SOPs and inventory tracking documents.

Hard Skills

• Assist in all brick manufacturing operations

• Mix sands for sand applications

• Set up and maintain sand applications

• Mix slurry for slurry applications

• Set up and maintain all aspects of slurry applications

• Clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades

• Monitor and ensure quality of brick being made

• Track schedule and ensure paints and sands are ready for change overs

• Maintain all SOPs and inventory tracking documents

• Observe, report, and assist in department equipment maintenance and repairs as directed

Soft Skills

• Strong mechanical skills and understanding

• Willingness to learn and take direction

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rocky Ridge, Maryland.
