Category Management Associate Position

The Category Management Associate supports the Category Management and Decision Support team with database management, data extracts and analysis in order to provide targeted strategic insights and recommendations to internal and external customers

Your Work

  • Apply broad theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers.  

  • Engage in all training/development programs as crafted.  

  • Solicit and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations as guided.  

  • Identify and contact prospective customers.  

  • Build customer relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.  

  • Perform with minimal direction and independently handle sophisticated clerical, administrative, technical, and customer support issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.  

  • Other duties as assigned; building reports, participating in projects etc

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $60,000. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Cargill we put people first. As part of your overall rewards, we offer a comprehensive benefit program including medical and /or other benefits dependent on the position offered and hours worked.

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer  

  • Currently pursuing or have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with a graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025

  • Experience working with data management, analysis and reports

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel

  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Geographically flexible and willing and able to relocate to Rogers, AR

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures

  • Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually  

  • Strong written and oral communications 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • Advanced skill set using database, spreadsheet and presentation software (Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint)
