Robert Half is seeking a highly qualified Aruba Systems Administrator on behalf of our client! The role offers a hybrid method of working, requiring the individual to be on-site when necessary. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest and greatest in networking technology.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead their transition from Extreme to Aruba network.

• Take the lead in designing and maintaining a wireless network infrastructure across their 29 locations.

• Responsible for the smooth operation of over thousands of devices and other wireless connections to ensure optimal network performance.

• Practice strong communication skills as well as a team-oriented mindset.

• Fits well into the staff community, with a strong aptitude for teaching and guiding others.

• Understand what’s happening when there are two or five concurrent running tasks.

  Requirements

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Profound knowledge and experience in Aruba wireless systems and Cisco switching.

• Design, support, and future-proof multiple wireless networks.

• Proficient in managing about 1000 access points within the premises.

• Familiarity with Clearpass and know how to use it to secure the network.

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating significant infrastructure projects such as rewiring.

• Guide and supervise junior administrators; note that there won’t be a need for ‘rack and stack’.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a good understanding of network issues.
