We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. We're seeking a Data Entry / Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the entire customer order cycle, including order entry, order acknowledgement, and shipment notification.

• Accurately enter purchase orders for direct fulfillment shipments.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, to manage data and perform various tasks.

• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with customers.

• Perform data entry tasks as needed, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and issues.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Experience in data entry tasks

• Familiarity with wholesale distribution industry

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Familiarity with order management systems is a plus

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
