We are seeking a Buyer in our Corporate Division, located in Romeoville, IL.

JOB DUTIES:

The primary role of this position is analyzing inventory data, quoting, placing orders & change orders, and inventory for structural steel stock items for the corporation. This position works closely with our internal and external Sales departments and Purchasing team to service current business and new business. The successful candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze data for replenishment of inventory for structural steel

• Quoting vendors

• Placing and confirming orders

• Expediting material and updating orders; release items for delivery

• Maintain pricing lists and update various reports

• Check invoice pricing

• Non-conformities

• Create product codes in ERP system

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  This position requires a self-motivated, organized individual with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. Be able to prioritize, provide consistent follow-up and discern information and communicate effectively. Experience working with a manufacturing or distribution company is highly preferred. A College degree in business is also preferred and a minimum of two years of work experience in a Buyer role required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is also required.
