Description:

Maintenance supervisor is needed. Candidate must come from an engineering background. Ideal candidate will be someone with 1-2 years of experience.

This supervisor will oversee the 3 techs on 1st shift (7:00-4:30pm).

The role will require both mechanical and electrical maintenance but the candidate will be more responsible for mechanical repairs. The plant contains all plastic extrusion equipment, this includes: conveyors, heaters, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, pullers, coilers, and vacuums. Candidate will be responsible for responding to downed machines, diagnosing the reason the machine is down, troubleshooting how to fix it, and actually fixing the equipment. The maintenance team is small and they work together to keep all of the equipment up and running. At times they will also conduct light facility maintenance to ensure the plant itself is running smoothly. Sometimes a candidate may even be asked to help change a light bulb in the office or unclog a toilet. Candidates must be open to help in small ways as well. Long term the team will begin to implement more formalized preventative maintenance programs on the machines which will be conduct on a regular schedule.
