Become an Enterprise Services Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you'll be part of the Meter to Cash portfolio within IT Customer Service, focusing on the SAP ISU platform and key systems for meter data management, bill printing, and the enterprise data warehouse (SAP BW/Snowflake). As an integrator between business and IT operations, you will ensure operational excellence, maintain business SLAs, and minimize business impact events. Your responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to ensure solution designs consider operational metrics, establishing operational reports, mitigating integration risks between projects and operations, and implementing automation to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients across organizational units, integrating and leveraging technology and business solutions. You will act independently and lead key decisions with stakeholder engagement, including senior management.

  • Establish and enforce standards and best practices for system integration, across projects in CS and in other portfolios for smooth transition to operations.

  • Partner with MSPs to ensure application stability, data integrity, timely service delivery, and implement service improvements.

  • Lead Enterprise Technology services and Business collaboration effort across diverse areas including multiple business functions to drive operational stabilization and continuous improvements in CS portfolio working with other IT portfolios as needed.

  • Responsible to drive digital transformation including automation across multiple business functions for operational efficiencies.

  • Lead the operational integration for large scale programs and new technology solutions.

  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

The essentials

  • Ten or more years of experience in Information Technology design, development, and operations.

  • Experience in leading projects or key business initiatives with demonstrated experience working with end-users to develop business, functional, and technical requirements.

  • Experience in SAP systems, Integration, and Data warehouse.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Experience and proficiency in collaborating with multiple teams across IT and with business, dedicated to exceptional customer service.

  • Experience in Customer service business processes and regulatory framework in utilities.

  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices, processes, and principles.

  • Matrix management – ability to achieve desired actions and outcomes through negotiation and influence.

  • Knowledge of latest technologies to perform a variety of specialized, unique, or complex assignments for various types of services.

  • Self-motivated, with excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Good verbal, written, and listening skills across multiple audiences from highly technical team members to business consumers at the highest levels of management.

  • Effective decision maker that meets business needs, while minimizing risk, and operating within company policies at all levels including regulatory ones.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
