Virtual Registered Dietitian (Contractor)

Available to work evening hours up until 9:30 pm

Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to both adult and adolescent patients in our Reasons eating disorder program.

Minimum Requirement:

• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) under the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in nutritional studies preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in nutritional field.

• Requires a minimum of two (2) years of dietary experience as a Registered Dietitian, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning.

  Job Description: The Virtual Registered Dietitian plans modified diets to meet the specific needs of each patient, provides nutritional assessments and weekly sessions for all patients assigned, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Assists the Director of Clinical and Nutrition services in monitoring the ongoing performance improvement activity of the Reasons Dietary Program and provides input in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans in relation to nutritional needs.
