Job Description

As a QMM Auditor you will be required to perform Process, Product or System audits per Bosch Auditing procedures and the requirements of the applicable standards (ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Experience in conducting process audits and supplier audits.

  • Manage and coordinate customer/ 3rd party audits.

  • Responsible for making relevant decisions concerning the audit process and align with Key Process Owners to resolve any issues.

  • Collect and analyze sufficient information to provide recommendations for certifications.

  • Authority for the control and performance of auditing including planning and the control of other members of audit teams.

  • Establish, communicate and implement an Internal Audit Program and report periodically on the effectiveness using KPIs (schedule, non-conformances, closure times, etc.)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

  • Prior experience in quality assurance and auditing within the automotive industry.

  • Lead Auditor Certifications (ISO/ ITAF, VDA 6.3) or ability to obtain the certifications quickly upon hiring.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards and regulations, including ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949.

  • Strong understanding of core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan.

  • Strong background and knowledge of technical applications of the standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing

  • Satisfactory completion of an approved IATF 16949 Auditor/Lead Auditor course.

  • VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification.

  • Experience in a highly controlled complex manufacturing environment (such as semiconductors or pharmaceuticals) a huge plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Leadership abilities – ability to Lead a team to achieve a set up goal or complete an audit on time and according to standards.

  • Proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills.

  • Effectively reacts in stressful situations and makes clear, well-founded decisions regarding conformity during the audit.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while delivering results on time.

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – Strong working knowledge

  • Ability to quickly learn new standard software in use across Bosch Manufacturing Plants.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $115,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
