General Production Worker in Roseville, MN - Pay - $21+/hr.,

Job Description

• The position is a utility role where the individual will work as a production Worker.

• Responsibilities include rebuilding valves for tanks that will eventually be filled with chlorine, operating equipment to pressurize the valves, and moving completed pallets with a forklift to staging or shipping areas.

• The role also involves cleaning, prepping, and removing old labels from the tanks. Eventually, you will learn how to fill the tanks with chlorine.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild valves for tanks similar to propane tanks.

• Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.

• Move completed pallets of tanks using a forklift to staging or shipping areas.

• Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.

• Fill tanks with chlorine after training and hiring.

• Clean and empty pre-used tanks, preparing them for refill.

• Use a machine to sandblast cylinders.

• Assist with inspecting final products before shipping, ensuring labels are correct and tanks are properly sealed.

• Work in the loading dock filling trucks with chemicals.

• Select the correct chemical needed by the tanker driver and apply proper safety gear.

• Operate controls to fill tankers with chemicals and seal them correctly.

• Drive forklifts to move barrels or totes to filling areas and connect hoses to the correct chemical by weight.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• 2+ years of experience documenting work, such as outbound shipments or quality checks on parts manufactured.

• Strong computer skills for entering information, pulling orders, and tracking orders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.12 - $25.00
