We are currently hiring for an operations director for our Roseville, MN wastewater treatment facility producing regenerable ion exchange and absorptive media service products. This role is responsible for plant oversight, analytical lab, engineering and technical services, customer support operations, and business development. The plant is a regulated facility which operates two shifts, Monday – Friday with weekends and overtime as demand requires. Key responsibilities include safety and environmental compliance, producing products to quality requirements on time, leading business development team which interfaces with sales and other operational teams.

• Provide leadership and setting strategy, KPIs, and deliverables for continuous improvementwithintheareasofsafety,environmental,customerexperience/quality, production, reliability and profitability.

• Lead,fosterandrolemodelasafetyfirstculturewithhighlevelofemployeeengagement.

• Ensuresafety,environmentalandregulatorycomplianceforallsiteactivities,including RCRA permitted waste treatment facility requirements.

• Workacrossallfunctionstoensuresmoothsiteoperationsfromsalesordersthrough production to order fulfillment.

• Establish and manage product line strategy deploying through business development team.

• Communicateandcoordinatewithsales/commercialteamsandplanningteamstoensure site operations and resources are aligned with overall business and customer needs.

• Responsible for financial performance of the plant and site operations to meet financial goalsandbusinessneeds.Developannualbudgetandoperatingplan,regularfinancial reviews and metric reviews including corrective action plans when needed.

• Identifyandpreparecapitalprojectneedsforthefacilityinconjunctionwiththeengineering team.

• Identityandimplementongoingcontinuousimprovementactionsthroughoutthesiteto ensure efficient and effective overall operations.

• Leadmonthlysiteoperationsreviewoffinancialresultsandmetricstoseniorleadership

• Required: BS Degree; Preferred: MBA

• Required: Minimum 10 years of plant and/or regional leadership roles

• Preferred: Experience in operations and commercial/sales leadership roles.

• Preferred: Experience working within a regulatory environment

Salary range:

$118,500.00 - $213,500.00
