Deloitte Lead Enterprise Data Architect in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work you'll do

Description

This is an oversight role for boots on the ground architecture team for a modernization project and focusing on program-level architecture strategy efforts. Public Trust security clearance is required. Responsibilities include:

•Strong Oracle database design, implementation and DBA experience •Extensive Informatica ETL, data warehouse, data mart, and master data management experience •Design and implement data infrastructure on-premises and in the Cloud (AWS) •Business Intelligence and data analytics solutions, including Business Object, Oracle Reports, and Power Bi •Extract and translate business data concepts into enterprise data architecture design following an API, Modular/Microservice Architecture • Identification and extraction of architecture data sets to support enterprise engineering meta-modeling and openAPI industry standards, swagger API design tools • Collaboratively produce quality Data API solutions as part of Agile Product teams • Apply Domain Driven Design in concert with software and platform engineering teams to decompose business architecture, processes into user stories and technology components • Identification, development and assessment of alternative open source data solution that for RDMS/SQL, NO-SQL, columnar, streaming and messaging • Collaboratively work with client to establish data governance and quality guidelines to build road map for future end state • Experience in data profiling, quality analysis and data migration strategies and architecture Required Skills: Data Governance Strategy; Data Quality; Data Quality Management; Data API Modeling; Database Administration; Enterprise Data Warehousing;

The GPS AI & Data Engineering (AI&DE) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to deliver insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Required:

  • 10+ years professional experience in systems/cloud engineering

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Eligibility to obtain a US Secret security clearance required

  • 10+ years experience in enterprise-wide systems, operational data architecture design, ETL, database architecture, developing capabilities and requirements

    DESIRED SKILLS Minimum 5 years experience in developing enterprise solutions as a data architect Minimum 5 years' experience with Oracle Database Technologies Minimum 5 years' experience in using modeling tools including Sparx Enterprise Architect (or similar) Minimum 1 year of experience in federal government consulting Minimum 5 years' experience in designing, developing and operating data management systems
