Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Program Control - Integration & Tools 2 . This position will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do:

Management responsibilities for Program Controls Integration and Tools Team - Lead a team of integration and tool analysts to develop and maintain procedures for cost / schedule alignment, and tool development and maintenance for tools specific to the Sentinel program. Management responsibilities for Cost & Schedule Management in multiple Business Areas on the Program. Manage all efforts relating to Cost & Schedule baselines including:

  • Develop and lead an organization of hybrid Cost, Schedule, and Integration analysts

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training for cost/schedule integration (Project / Primavera to Cobra)

  • Develop and maintain training for Kidasa Milestones Professional

  • Develop and maintain procedures and training for Acumen Fuse / Risk for Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and Schedule Health Assessments

  • Develop and maintain process and procedures for converting MS Project .mpp files to an .XER format for Oracle P6 CDRL deliverables

  • Primary ownership of MS Project Server environment

  • Monthly integration and syncing of 35+ MS Project schedules

  • Support development and generation of cost metrics and PowerBI visualization dashboards

  • Maintenance of PS-LITE database and Power queries

  • Support development and validation of month-end SPD and CPD for the Integrated Program Management Data Report (IPMDAR) CDRL

  • Project management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelines

  • Function as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement, and learning

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the Northrop Grumman Earned Value Management System

  • Advise Control Account Managers and Work Package Leads on Compliance and EV Guidelines

  • Integrates Earned Value Management principles and supports integrated baseline (IBR) reviews

  • Perform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environment Problem solving and decision making requiring excellent communication skills

  • Develop, mentor and train integration personnel and provide regular performance feedback

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and 6 years of experience; Masters and 4 years of experience; PhD and 1 year of experience with at least 1 year experience leading a project and /or driving performance against a schedule.

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

  • Oracle Primavera P6 experience

  • Microsoft Project Server experience

  • Deltek Cobra experience

  • Active DOD secret clearance, and the ability to obtain special program access.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Acumen Fuse experience

  • SSI Tools experience

  • PowerBI experience

  • Kidasa Milestones Professional experience

  • MS Project to Primavera .XER conversion experience

  • Experience in a DoD EMD environment

  • Experience interfacing with customer

  • Cost / Schedule integration with MS Project / Primavera and Cobra

  • Experience leading a team

  • Experience with back-end Cobra support

  • 1 year of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience

Salary Range: $119,300 - $197,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
