Corewell Health Physician - OB/Gyn - Gynecologic Oncology - System Section Head - Royal Oak in Royal Oak, Michigan

Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a qualified Gynecologic Oncologist with System Section Head responsibilities. The successful candidate would join a four-member Division of Gynecologic Oncology.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has 4 residency training programs within Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan. The Gynecologic Oncology division is growing significantly with services offered at the following campuses: Royal Oak, Dearborn, Troy, Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills. The division is supported by full time office managers, nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and additional front office staff.

Physician to provide counseling, Diagnosis, treatment and follow up services related to gynecologic cancers, 2 hours a week are dedicated to the role of system section head.

    Qualifications:

  • BC OB/Gyn

  • Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows

  • Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology

  • 5 years leadership experience

  • Unrestricted License - Michigan MD/DO

  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a persuasive communicator who is empathetic and a respectful listener who can create an atmosphere that allows individuals to flourish within the context of the department.
