Certified Police officer: Reports to Chief of Police Definition: Performs law enforcement and crime prevention work including but not limited to patrol of assigned areas, apprehension and arrest of alleged violations and a variety of tactical and administrative tasks, in support of the City of Ruidoso Downs Police Department. Tasks: Answering calls and complaints including automobile accidents, domestics disputes, robberies, assaults and felonies. Assume control of traffic accidents to control flow, assist accident victims and investigate cause of accidents.
