Plant Engineering Manager based near Rutledge, GA for a leading manufacturing company. This role is expected to strategically manage the facilities and maintenance teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is ideal)

• Must have at least three (3) years experience managing maintenance preventative initiatives

• Experience in a leadership capacity in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or production control environment

• Electrical controls background

Preferred:

• Lean Manufacturing, 5S and/or 6 Sigma experience

responsibilities:

• Maintain a roadmap of planned and potential plant improvement initiatives

• Responsibility for the implementation and scheduled review of site projects and plans

• Provides site leadership and supervision for site engineering, instrumentation and controls, and overall performance

• Responsible for delivering increased site capacity through leadership, capital projects and continuous improvement.

• Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime and to identify opportunities for improvement

• Lead the controls and operating system strategy for plant equipment

• Manages equipment maintenance requests
