Responsibilities

Following procedures: Adhering to safety guidelines and established procedures

Inspecting equipment: Reporting any maintenance or repairs needed for material handling equipment

Responding to requests: Responding to material requests from other departments

Disposing of waste: Safely and legally disposing of waste materials

Loading and unloading: Using equipment like forklifts and hand trucks to load and unload materials from trucks

Transporting: Moving materials to designated locations

Continuously lifting 50 lbs, loading the doors onto trucks

Use of Hand tools

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
