Robert Half Bookkeeper/Office Manager in Sacramento, California

Description

Robert Half is working with a client in need of a Office Manager/ Bookkeeper to join their team based in Sacramento, California. This role is pivotal in maintaining our company's day to day bookkeeping and administrative duties.

This is a direct hire role (not temp to hire) and is full time in office. Please apply if interested, and qualified.

Job Duties include:

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner

• Generate regular financial reports for the management or board of directors

• Oversee general office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities

• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff and executives

• Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible

• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail

• Assist with membership management, including processing applications, renewals, and inquiries

• Coordinate and support events, conferences, and other activities organized by the association

• Act as a liaison between association members,

• Provide administrative support to other staff members as needed

• Assist with audits and financial reviews as required

• Communicate effectively with association members, board members, staff, and external stakeholders

• Handle inquiries and provide assistance to members regarding membership, events, and other association activities

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations.

• Sound knowledge and experience in Bookkeeping.

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and speed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
