General Cardiologist - Shareholder Track Opportunity
Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is seeking a board-certified, experienced, and skilled, compassionate General Cardiologist. You will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting located in Sacramento, California. Your expertise will contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases while ensuring the highest standard of patient care and satisfaction.

Compensation Range: $494,062 - $523,125 / Year

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and heart failure.
Develop personalized treatment plans and collaborate with patients to establish achievable health goals.
Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, including exercise, diet, and stress management, to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
Coordinate care with other specialists, such as cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology research, attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, technicians, and support staff, to deliver efficient and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine.
Fellowship training in Cardiology from an accredited program.
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist.
Proficiency in non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures and interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
Dedication to staying current with advancements in cardiology through ongoing education and professional development.
Pay Range
$237.00 - $251.00 /hour
