Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Sacramento, California

Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst II based in Sacramento, California. This role is primarily located in a secure, non-public access building, providing IT support within a large-scale, Citrix-based virtual desktop environment. This job offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, where the selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for maintaining IT services and support for approximately 1,200 users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support to a large user base, ensuring efficient resolution of inquiries and issues.

• Handle incoming calls and emails to the IT helpdesk, providing prompt assistance to users.

• Understand and support a Citrix-based virtual desktop environment.

• Gain proficiency in Court-specific applications to operate effectively.

• Utilize the Epicor ITSM ticketing system for tracking and resolving issues.

• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to safety protocols within the building.

• Possess familiarity with Wyse thin clients, HP printers, and Fujitsu 7160 scanners, or be willing to learn.

• Be prepared to receive training on the Court's unique applications and systems.

• Provide IT-related solutions and assistance to all Court users, including deputies assigned to serve as bailiffs in courtrooms.

• Ensure the IT call center is operational from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Skills:

• Proficiency in PC Desktop - Workstation

• Knowledge of MS Windows 10 Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in PC Desktop - Workstation is mandatory

• Advanced knowledge of MS Windows 10 is required

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in remote troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed

• Must have exceptional customer service skills

• IT-related certifications are a plus

• Familiarity with IT Service Management software would be beneficial
