Robert Half HR Generalist in Sacramento, California

Description

We are seeking a qualified Human Resources Generalist for upcoming opportunities to manage and implement various human resources programs within our organization. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our HR practices by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all employees; assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.

  • Develop and manage job descriptions and classifications.

  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all levels of employees, conduct new-employee orientations, and oversee the exit-interview process.

  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and counseling to managers and employees.

  • Oversee investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Advise managers, supervisors, and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement employee relations policies to ensure a positive employer-employee relationship.

  • Maintain record of human resources operations and activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or related field.

  • 2-5 years' experience in human resources or related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, as well as HRIS systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.

  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
