Position Overview:
PMP certification is highly desired.
In office 1-2 times per year and some on-site go-live support. Travel 10%.
Pacific time zone working hours.
Manages highly complex digital project management office (PMO) projects from conception to completion including scope of management, timelines, and budget. Provides leadership to project teams and junior members of the information services (IS) PMO team. Assists in the establishment and implementation of Sutter IS PMO project management processes and methodologies for the IS community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet client expectations. Accountable for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues. Responsible for the tracking of key project milestones, adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of clients, and coordinates communication with other teams and clients in relation to scope of management, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years of recent experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of general Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), project management methodologies and/or Sutter Health’s project methodology and project management methodology.
Expertise in Microsoft Project and Office Suite.
Ability to use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts and ideas.
Ability to make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
Ability to maintain schedule within project server.
Ability to organize workflow to accomplish established objectives.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.

Pay Range is $58.95 to $88.43 / hour. California, New Jersey, and Washington Pay Range is $58.95 to $88.43 / hour. Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia Pay Range is $53.06 to $79.59 / hour. Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Utah Pay Range is $47.16 to $70.75 / hour.
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
