Royal Electric Technology Lead in Sacramento, California

We have a current opening for an Technology Lead at our Sacramento, CA office.

Position Description:

The Technology Lead will work closely with IT and Operations to improve processes with the use of technology. As the Technology Lead they will lead all new software implementations, analyze current processes and compare to industry standard best practices, lead smaller teams of subject matter experts, and assist in developing training materials.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage current and future construction software suites including HCSS, Procore, and Viewpoint Spectrum TC1 including evaluating features within the suites.

  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between software suites by documenting mappings and working with vendor support.

  • Research and identify project needs by gathering requirements and working with vendors to recommend new technology needs based.

  • Creating implementation plans and leading teams to integrate technology solutions.

  • Stay current with advancements and trends in construction technology, software, and platforms

  • Provide technical support and assist with training for new and existing employees to implement best practice recommendations throughout the company.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend construction management software and platforms to boost project efficiency and collaboration

Requirements

Education & Experience

Industry Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree- civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

  • 2 – 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a deep understanding of construction processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Expertise in construction management software and platforms, including Viewpoint Spectrum TC1, Procore, HCSS, Power BI, and the Office 365 Suite.

  • SQL skills are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to provide guidance and development for all stakeholders of the business and project controls functions

  • Strong data analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

    Salary Range:

$83,000/year - $104,000/year

  • This is an exempt/salaried position
