Position Overview:

Coordinates medical needs between units/houses and medical staff. Schedules appointments for youth and transports youth to appointments. Performs clerical duties for the medical clinic, including data input, preparation of correspondence and maintenance of records and files.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates medical needs between units/houses and medical staff.
• Schedules appointments (medical/dental/psychiatric).
• Transports youth to appointments.
• Develop relationships with pharmacy, doctors and medical professionals in the area.
• Performs clerical duties (typing, inputting, coding, filing, etc.) for medical clinic.
• Utilizes computer system to enter data and prepare draft letters, reports, memos, and Holy Cross Children's Services requirements
• Assists Regional Nurse in maintaining appropriate medical records and files.
• Maintains inventory of supplies, machines, and equipment for clinic.
• Cross-train as a medication administrator.
• Performs other duties related to the essential duties of the position and within the individual's capabilities as assigned by one's supervisor.
