Level One Welder (Shields, MI)

::: {testid="richTextElement"} Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible to support and follow the CIGNYS QMS.

• Inspection of product as provided by manufacturing as scheduled or dictated by shipment schedule.

• Accept or reject product based on the requirements included in drawings, specifications, standards and other customer requirements.

• Generate records, reports and other inspection documents as instructed based on the customer requirements and QMS requirements.

• Perform random in process floor inspections as assigned.

• Perform Receiving Inspection as assigned.

Qualifications and Physical Demands:

• Familiar with the AS 9100 and ISO 9001

• Minimum of 1 years as a Quality Inspector.

• Basic computer skills

• Knowledge of basic hand tools and gauging equipment

• Basic drawing translation and reading skills.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
