About Us:

We are a leading construction company in St. George, UT, known for delivering top-

notch craftsmanship in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are looking for a

skilled Carpenter to join our team and contribute to our continued success in the industry.

Job Overview: The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing

structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role involves working on a

variety of projects, including framing, cabinetry, and finish carpentry, ensuring that all work

meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the dimensions, materials, and methods required for each project.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials using hand and power tools.
  • Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinetry, drywall, and flooring with precision and attention to detail.
  • Build and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and ceilings, according to construction plans.
  • Perform finish carpentry tasks such as trimming, molding, and custom woodworking.
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

     

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a related role.
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and measuring devices.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness to perform manual labor.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
