Keurig Dr Pepper Sr Project Engineer in Saint Joseph, Michigan

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Sr Project Engineer to join our Hot Beverage Appliance team at Saint Joseph-MI Office.

This position will be responsible for developing Concepts and Design Requirements for Electro-mechanical and Hydraulics systems to be used on our small appliances. This role will work closely with a team of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical/Electronics Engineers, Software Engineers, testing engineers and technicians and consumer scientists, developing our next generation coffee brewers. This role requires excellent technical skills and high level of autonomy in specifying mechanical and hydraulics modules, including solenoid valves, pumps, hoses, connections etc. The successful candidate must display teamwork skills, excellent communication and analytical skills, sense of ownership, curiosity, continuous learning mindset and ability to set plans and accomplish tasks and propose recommendations under general direction. The successful candidate will be joining a talented team of individuals developing Keurig next generation platforms.

What you will do:

  • Develop specifications for modules that compose our next gen appliances.

  • Setup and conduct design of experiments, study of variation, acquire data, conduct analysis and provide recommendations.

  • Actively participate in technical project reviews

  • Develop learning plans and communicate results to leadership

  • Request and coordinate lab and model shop requests

  • Conduct detailed design reviews

  • Leverage a broad technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, software, and connected systems. 

  • Identify knowledge gaps and develop learning plans to address them.

  • Create sub-system and component FMEAs, create and analyze fault-trees and work on plans to mitigate technical risks.

  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
