Akima Assistant Program Manager - Sign-on Bonus Available (Able to Obtain TS Clearance) in Saint Louis, Missouri

This full-time, on-site position responsible for the overall management of AID’s performance of all work related to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of all facilities and other real property, utility plants and systems, and grounds at the End User’s campus site.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures safe working practices. Cultivates a culture of safety to prevent injuries.

  • Manages the project to meet or exceed financial and other key metrics.

  • Periodically reports and creates action plans to ensure KPIs are achieved.

  • Assures continuous facility operations and prevent disruptions that could adversely affect the mission of the End User Campus.

  • Keeps the Government informed of current status of building systems, anticipated service interruptions, and other vital information.

  • Possesses strong communication and leadership skills to enable the incumbent to work across all departments and sections.

  • Able to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must successfully complete a background check to include criminal and credit and obtain a government clearance.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information.

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or another related field.

  • Possess or able to obtain an Industry recognized certification in Program Management, Project Management or Facility Management.

  • 10 years’ experience managing all aspects of building operations; 7 years of which must have been with a contract of similar size and scope (approximate 97-acre campus site with office space and structured parking for over 3,000 employees and a central utility plant).

  • Experience with managing LEED certified facilities.

  • Experience with operations in U.S. Government facilities.

  • Experience in development, maintenance, and reporting of facility and service metrics.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information.

  • Possess an Industry recognized certification in Program Management, Project Management or Facility Management.

  • Travel on an infrequent basis, if required (<10%).
