Job Summary:

Provides organizational operations support related to cash, debt and investments.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes daily cash activity, including monitoring centralized bank balances, managing the automated cash concentration system, determining daily cash position, completion of SAP funds transfers (including wires/ACH’s) for the system and completing all movements of short-term investment pools.

  • Communicates cash management transactions to entity personnel, primarily through effective use of e-mail, in order to facilitate their posting of accounting entries and minimizing reconciling items on their bank reconciliations.

  • Manages day-to day relationships with cash management, local depository and payroll bank, including review of month-end reports and approving their delivery to the entities.

  • Coordinates the completion of all bank signature forms, agreements, corporate resolutions, and all other documentation required for all banking relationships.

  • Assists in maintaining the SAP database for bank accounts/signatories and repetitive funds transfers

  • Assists in system-wide bank account consolidation projects, including participation in banking service request for proposal (RFP) projects

  • Monitors banking fees and coordinates payment of invoices

  • Monitors day-to-day system-wide credit card programs

  • Supports the SSMH debt compliance program, ensuring compliance with bond trust indentures, loan agreements and credit agreements

  • Supports the administration of the SSMH debt program including processing of variable rate debt invoices, commercial paper invoices, and swap invoices into the S4 payment module

  • Assist in the calculation of the weighted average cost of debt for the SSMH debt program

  • Assist in the validation of the monthly mark-to-market valuations for debt related derivatives

  • Supports the day-to-day administration of the SSMH Centralized Investment Program (CIP), including processing of investment transactions, payment of investment manager invoices, and supporting month-end custody and performance reporting requirements

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
