GATEWAY METRO FEDERAL CREDIT UNION Quality Assurance Representative in Saint Louis, Missouri

The Quality Assurance Representative will assist with maintaining the quality and accuracy of member records and credit union data in compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations as well as internal policies established by GMFCUs Board of Directors and corresponding procedures

Job Requirements

The Position:

  • Perform tasks to support other departments or member requests such as, but not limited to, closing accounts, mail deposits/loan payments, address changes, account verification requests, return mail, debit card dispute research, subpoenas, assist accounting with some general ledgers, etc.
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments or functions as required and/or assigned.
  • Audit various Credit Union processes to ensure accuracy for the membership.
  • Communicate with frontline and back office team about errors related to processing. Follow-up to ensure corrections have taken place.
  • Report the results of audits/reviews in an approved format to appropriate branch or department supervisors.
  • Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking to resolve issues, suggest improvements and embrace new ideas.
  • Maintain confidentiality of member information as well as results of any reviews and department information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting activities preferred
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software

  • Must be able to exert up to 10lbs of force, occasionally, to lift, carry, push, move and pull objects
  • Light work usually requires walking or standing frequently
  • Work is typically sedentary
