Responsibilities Responsible for working with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements to develop efficient and effective reporting solutions. This includes the development and maintenance of firm-wide reporting systems, prototyping/developing reports, as well as enhancements to existing reporting systems. Also responsible for supporting users firm-wide with daily reporting needs. Receives directions from Reporting Manager or others, as needed.
- Support firm users with daily reporting needs. This includes, but is not limited to creating custom queries to extract & aggregate data, and providing assistance to users with self-service reporting tools.
- Develop enhancements to the reporting solutions used by the firm. This includes, but is not limited to the development of new Power BI, Workday, and SSRS reports, enhancements to existing reporting solutions, and database object creation (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions).
- Interpret business objectives and needs, assess alternatives and provide innovative solutions using project management methodologies, including concept, design, budget, implementation, testing, documentation, and training phases.
- Provide second level support for Time & Billing System and other data intensive web applications. Troubleshooting and resolution of data issues.
- Research new technologies and applications that can improve the quality, performance or functionality of reporting applications used firm-wide.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as business, finance, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of business stakeholders.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Use effective time management with appropriate prioritization to ensure all assigned responsibilities are executed on time and with the quality expected.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Workday Reporting, Microsoft SQL Server
- Preferred skills: SQL Server Reporting Services, Databricks, Visual Studio Data Tools/Report Builder, SQL Server Analysis Services.
Additional Information For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for t is role is $51,910 to $110,030. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. #LI-KK1
