Aerotek Calibration Technician in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Job Title: Calibration Technician

Job Description

A mechanical contracting company that specializes in HVAC and refrigeration installation and service is seeking a Calibration Technician. This role involves handling physical calibration, such as temp testing and humidity testing, denominational calibration like calipers and tape measures, and electronic calibration including multi-meters and other electronic equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring quality both onsite and in the shop, managing uncertainty budgets, performing internal and external audits, and overseeing the quality of work performed by technicians and metrologists. The technician will also perform in-place calibrations, lift heavy equipment as required, and work closely with customers and management to achieve excellent final product service results.

Work Environment

This individual will travel around the metro area to different job sites servicing clients such as Boston Scientific and Medtronic. They will engage face-to-face with multiple vendors and clients, troubleshoot problems, work in the office for documentation, and monitor technicians in the field. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm with some Saturdays dependent on client/job site.
