About the Job
This position is responsible for providing excellent administrative support for all leaders in assigned business unit(s).
Enter data into various systems and prepare reports for business unit needs (WFM, Dakota, EAM, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, etc.).
Prepare and publish weekly labor schedules. Fill and backfill open shifts in a 24/7 plant in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement parameters.
Assist with safety incident documentation and the coordination of learning teams.
Track attendance, schedule discipline meetings between leaders and employees, and submit required documentation to HR in a timely manner.
Support operational excellence pillar teams through active involvement and engagement which includes but is not limited to scheduling and attending pillar team meetings, maintaining meeting notes and action lists, sending follow-up requests, compiling communications and documentation, and developing scorecards.
Retrieving mail and packages from other plant locations and distributing to applicable team members.
Performing other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education a plus.
Experience: At least two years of relevant administrative experience in manufacturing environment required.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of standard office administration procedures and techniques, accurate spelling/grammar/punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, basic proficiency in timekeeping systems. Strong organizational skills and effective communication skills required.
Abilities: Proven ability to quickly learn new technology in a self-directed manner. Ability to work independently with minimal daily direct supervision. Ability to understand process flows.
