Teradata Developer Advocate Intern in Salem, Oregon

Our Internship Program
Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. We offer a fast-paced, flexible, fun environment where you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and face new challenges every day.
Location
Our program is fully virtual. Interns must remain in the US for the duration of the internship.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will:
Explain to the data science community what AI/ML use cases can be built with Teradata and how to do it
Present use cases using the following channels: blogs (Medium), videos (YouTube), posts (LinkedIn)
Who You’ll Work With
We are an established team of developer advocates who connect with data scientists and data engineers across the globe. We work with the community on interesting AI/ML use cases. We explain what can be done with Teradata products. We connect with many developers and pass their feedback to Teradata product teams.
The person hired for this position will report to the head of Developer Experience.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD program, with a graduation date between December 2025-June 2027.
Data & Analytics, AI/ML, or Computer Science major.
Must be in the US for the duration of the internship.
What You’ll Bring
Good understanding of fundamental AI/ML algorithms: Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines (SVM), k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Naive Bayes, Gradient Boosting (e.g., XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM), K-means Clustering, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN).
Ability to write and present with clarity.
Comfortable with making new connections with people.
Pay Rate: $29.00 - $44.00 - $50.00 Hourly
