We’re searching for a CNC Machinist who wants to grow their career while playing a pivotal role in crafting precision components that provide security to countless people and organizations worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery including CNC and manual machines such as lathes, mill turns with 3-5 axes, and both horizontal and vertical mills. The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, bolstered by technical certification or vocational training in machining.

  • Demonstrable experience in both CNC and manual machining, with a robust understanding of machining operations and principles.

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and executing work accurately based on these designs.

  • Familiarity with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software, enhancing your machining capabilities.

  • The skill to operate various machining equipment with exactness, maintaining precise tolerances.

  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle machining challenges head-on.

  • Excellent communication skills, both for teamwork and training, coupled with the ability to work independently when needed.

  • Flexibility to adapt work hours and willingness to put in extra time when necessary to meet critical deadlines.

  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and a general familiarity with Windows environments.

    What You Will Be Doing:

  • Master the art of setting up machines according to detailed prints and specifications to create parts that meet exacting standards.

  • Harness your expertise to select and secure the right fixtures, tools, and attachments for machining tasks.

  • Quickly and efficiently perform machine changeovers to keep production moving smoothly.

  • Utilize your strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings to visualize the end product and execute the machining process with precision.

  • Apply mathematical skills and precision measuring tools to ensure all machined components meet tight tolerances.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot any machining issues, making adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.

  • Ensure the quality of finished products through meticulous inspection and measurement.

  • Lead by example, training other team members and embracing continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and restart machines after interruptions to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Take advantage of opportunities for overtime, contributing to the team's success during peak production periods.

  • Uphold our company's standards, policies, and procedures, becoming an ambassador for our culture of excellence.

    Physical Requirements:

    1. Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.

    2. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.

    3. Ability to reach with hands and arms.

    4. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
