Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator who will be responsible for moving products using various equipment such as forklifts, cranes, loaders, reach trucks, and boom lifts. Some of the work will take place in a -10 degree freezer environment. The ideal candidate should have minimal mechanical or machine operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, cranes, loaders, reach trucks, and boom lifts to move products.

• Work in a -10 degree freezer environment.

• Handle inventory and materials using pallet jacks.

• Perform minimal mechanical or machine operating tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts.

• Experience with inventory management.

• Material handling skills.

• Ability to use pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes.

• Knowledge of loaders and reach trucks.

• Ability to operate boom lifts.

Work Environment

This position is based in a Distribution Center (DC) with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, following a 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off schedule. Alternatively, there is a CSD schedule with 11 on, 3 off, and shifts available from 7 AM to 4 PM or 4 PM to 2 AM. The work environment includes a -10 degree freezer, and you will be provided with the necessary protective gear.

This is a Permanent position based out of Salina, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $39000.00 - $45760.00
