Aerotek CNC Maintenance Technician in Salinas, California

Description:

Repair and Maintain all CNC equipment onsite.

Responsibilities:

Repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools, as well as working with and continuously improving the methods to record, track, and manage these activities. As a member of the facilities team, the machine tool service technician will work to attempt to solve capital equipment issues themselves, with the facilities and engineering team, and with our outside vendors that support this equipment, such as our CNC machining tool distributors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Track internal requests for manufacturing floor and CNC machine tool improvements. As such, the technician will have to be able to track and manage multiple projects, communicate clearly in a variety of formats, and be able to provide status updates to the facilities manager and upper management. As our facility and capital equipment performance is a key component of our ability to succeed, this position is of high visibility in the company; strong performers have the opportunity to become highly valued members of the team.
