The Senior Accountant handles a wide range of tasks, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day

• Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

• Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

• Engage in various department-wide initiatives

• Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Able to manage time well

• High attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• Vow to meet business deadlines

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

• Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Practical knowledge of month end closings

• Good understanding of Month-end Reports

• Solid understanding of journal entries

• Quality experience with Month-end Close Activities

• Proven knowledge of cost accounting

• Well-founded grasp of budgeting

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Journal Entry Preparation experience

• Earlier work involving Month-end Journal Entries

• Journal Entry experience required

• Wide ranging experience with Month-end Financial

• General familiarity with budget forecasting

• Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

• Efficient in ERP systems

• Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
