Summary

We are recruiting for an IAM Analyst. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst will provide guidance and experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing IAM solutions to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will drive automation and innovation where possible to streamline security processes. This position will serve as a subject matter expert for the provisioning and deprovisioning processes to all systems.

This role is onsite at our Salisbury, MD Headquarters.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Identity Governance and Administration:

  • Define and Manage IDs for a hybrid and cloud environment.

  • Support the business to determine user/business/functional security requirements.

  • Create job role matrix for new apps, while documenting segregation of duties.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM policies, processes, and configurations.

  • Create and support onboarding/offboarding processes for new and existing applications.

  • Support user access reviews and privileged access management.

  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on Application security-related matters, including user provisioning, access requests, and security policies.

  • Design, implement, and maintain ERP security controls and configurations for on-prem and cloud-based systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA and other ERP systems.

  • Support and define enterprise role entitlements/administration, provisioning workflows and access certifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in SAP security and cloud computing, and recommend enhancements to security controls and processes.

Access Management:

  • Manage access rights for systems, applications, repositories, etc. (File Shares, Sharepoint, Data Access, etc.) throughout the company.

  • Support IAM capabilities such as user provisioning/deprovisioning; user lifecycle management; SSO; MFA; password self-service and Privilege access management.

  • Play a key role in efficiently managing user identities and access to privileges across the enterprise.

  • Provide support, guidance, and clarity on the decisions around existing processes and provisioning of account access.

  • Provide workflow support for role/privilege authorization.

  • Support contractor/vendors and suppliers to provision remote access.

Security and Compliance:

  • Conduct IAM audits and assessments to identify and remediate risks.

  • Develop governance, policies, and procedures aligned to IAM technology and capabilities, including roles and responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support compliance audits and assessments.

  • Implement security controls to protect IAM systems from unauthorized access and attacks.

  • Ensure systems comply with relevant security standards and regulations.

  • Support Audit Services, ITGC and SOX requests.

  • Manage access application training certifications prior to provisioning users.

  • Manage recertification process for contractor/vendor access.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor IAM systems for anomalies and potential security threats.

  • Generate reports on IAM activity and access patterns.

  • Provide insights to management on IAM risks and compliance status.

  • Monitor IAM escalations and tickets and communicate as needed.

  • Develop monitoring reports on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of the IAM services.

  • Consolidate IAM data and have the ability to report trends and KPIs

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Education Level:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years IAM experience (In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of IAM experience).

Preferred Industry Certifications:

At least one of the preferred Industry recognized security certifications; (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), CompTIA Security+, ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate, etc.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
