Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

$17/hr

1st shift- 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday (4 day weeks)

• Complete task lists as described in the Corporate Training Outline and demonstrate complete knowledge and understanding.

• Maintain the raw material and finished goods warehouse area by taking pallets, putting them onto a packing machine line, and dropping rolls of metal onto the pallet before packing up the rolls.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation.

• Conduct receiving and receiving inspections on incoming raw material as documented in the work instructions.

• Perform in-process inspection of finished goods as defined by documented work instructions.

• Select and stage finished goods for shipping.

• Prepare material for processing as defined by documented work instructions.

• Facilitate the movement of material to and from the slitting machines and packaging line using the overhead crane and/or forklift trucks.

• Ensure that finished products are packaged in accordance with customer specifications.

• Carry out general duties related to the processing of flat rolled steel products as directed by the Plant Manager and/or the Shift Crew Chiefs.
